Seamus has been actively involved with Ferbane Parish Community Alert since 1992 and is currently the chairperson of this group. He is currently elected to the Birr MD to the PPN Secretariat. Penny Rowe
Penny currently works as a career/personal assistant with OCIL and Home instead in Tullamore Community. She works with people of all ages and backgrounds, disabilities and the elderly. Penny helps to promote independent living with anyone who’s independence is challenged. In the past Penny was chairperson of St Joseph’s National School Parents Association working with parents from all ethnic backgrounds and holding classes to bring parents together.

Liam Carty
Liam has been involved in the community of Walsh Island from the age of 17, five years later he is still involved actively in ensuring that Walsh Island and its surrounding area is a good place to live for all ages. He is interested in the prospects of having CCTV in areas where crime and illegal dumping is an issue.

Fergus McDonnell
Former member of OCC, Edenderry Town Council (29 years). Fergus was chairman of Edenderry Town Council JPC for 5 years. Chairman of Local Residents Association, Director of Irish Parachute Club Ltd. And Edenderry Swimming Pool Ltd. Former member of Edenderry addressing Substance Abuse Committee. Due to Fergus’s active involvement with a wide range of Community Groups and Organisations, he is acutely aware of the issues and concerns of the wider community and believes he will properly represent their concerns at JPC level
