Bloom Dementia Inclusive Garden

Bloom Dementia Inclusive Garden

 Tue, 16th Apr, 2019

The HSE’s national dementia campaign have a ‘dementia inclusive garden’ at the Bloom garden festival every year. This year the theme is reminiscence.

Every year they invite public organisations/amenities and residential care centres (including section 38 and 39 services) to apply to have the garden relocated at their centre / area after the festival.

Last year’s garden was successfully located to Arklow: https://www.understandtogether.ie/news-and-events/news/dementia-understand-together-garden-finds-permanent-home-in-arklow.html

The applicant organisation needs to cover the costs for relocation but will be fully supported in this process.

An application form will be available shortly and organisations will have one month to apply.

You can find out more about this year’s garden here: https://www.understandtogether.ie/bloom/bloom.html
