Offaly County Council invites you to participate in developing Offaly’s next five-year County Offaly Arts Plan (2018-2022). Join us at our public workshops or participate in an online survey, this is your plan so let us know what you think.

We have an opportunity to select and explore the best possible approaches to deepening involvement with the arts and the impact that arts participation can have on the quality of people’s lives in Offaly as well as for those visiting the county. What can be achieved when people come together to create, practice and engage in arts activity?

We welcome and value your participation at one of three public workshops taking place in:-

Tullamore Library, Tuesday 23rd May @ 7-9p.m.

Edenderry Library, Wednesday 24th May @ 6.30 – 8.30p.m.

Birr Theatre & Arts Centre, Thursday 25th May @ 7-9p.m.

RSVP to arts@offalycoco.ie or call 05793 46800 by Thursday 18th May 2017.

In addition we invite everyone to participate in an online short questionnaire accessible on https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/offalyarts. Deadline of survey entries 26th May @5pm.

Offaly County Council Arts Plan (2018-2022) will be framed within the legislative context under the Arts Act 2003, and national arts policy, as set out by the Dept, Of Arts Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs. It aligns with the Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaion’s ten year strategy Making Great Arts Work (2015-2015).
